RENEW Pledge

This fall, we are collecting signatures from candidates for the Maryland General Assembly to sign on in support of the Responding to Emergency Needs from Extreme Weather (RENEW) Act. If passed, the RENEW Act could require polluters in Maryland to pay hundreds of millions of dollars for their contributions to the climate crisis and that money can then be used to build infrastructure that better protects our communities from extreme weather. This would be HUGE for climate justice in Maryland
