The challenges our state is facing are daunting. One in six Marylanders currently out of work; thousands dead from COVID and air pollution, with clear link between the two; a governor threatening to undermine a critical election. And on top of that, we are one of the most at-risk states to a climate crisis that hasn’t slowed down.
We need real solutions in this moment. We need to learn the lessons of COVID and listen to scientists before it’s too late. And we need the ability to safely assert our choices for leaders who are willing to listen.
