Great news on the #ElectrifyDC front! DC Councilmember Charles Allen and seven other Councilmembers recently introduced the “Healthy Homes and Residential Electrification Amendment Act of 2023.” This is a great bill that would allow up to 30,000 low- and moderate-income households to remove harmful methane burning appliances from their homes. 

This is the most important thing that the DC Council can do for climate change and environmental justice, and it’s important for Councilmembers to understand this.
