The Maryland legislature passed the POWER Act — for Promoting Offshore Wind Energy Resources — meaning our state is now on the way to generating 8.5 gigawatts of clean renewable energy. That's enough to power every home in Maryland, all while adding solid union jobs AND making tremendous progress fighting climate change.
