Tell the Frederick County Council:
Support All-Electric New Building & Homes!

Updating building codes to the most energy efficient standards for new construction is an excellent way to save Frederick residents from rising and unpredictable energy bills. Heat pumps are extremely energy-efficient year-round - they’re 2 to 3 times more efficient than a fossil fuel furnace in winter weather, and use as much as 29% less electricity than the best central ACs during extremely hot days (which are becoming increasingly common in Frederick County).  All-electric new buildings are cheaper to build, healthier for their occupants, and better for the climate. Thanks to this outstanding energy efficiency equipment, Frederick can expect lower monthly energy bills while keeping homes comfortable year round.

Ask your County Councilmembers to support all-electric new buildings for Frederick County!
