Climate Lobby Night

Come to Annapolis the evening of Monday, February, 19th to lobby for just and equitable climate solutions with the Chesapeake Climate Action Network Action Fund! Coming to Annapolis to lobby your state lawmakers is one of the very best ways to help pass clean energy legislation.

Free dinner will be provided, along with a training on how to lobby your lawmakers.

This year, lobby night will focus on the Responding to Emergency Needs from Extreme Weather Act, or RENEW Act. If passed into law, the RENEW Act would make the investments needed in Maryland to reduce our emissions, and to prepare for heavier storms, higher tides, and hotter heat waves we are already experiencing. The best part it is, the international fossil fuel companies would be the ones paying for all of these investments.
