DETAILS:
At the training, we'll teach you all about how to support four key bills:
- The Responding to Emergency Needs from Extreme Weather (RENEW) Act, which will invest in disaster relief and preparedness for Maryland. It will do this by requiring major fossil fuel companies to pay a one-time fee;
- Solar Siting Reform, which will allow for utility-scale solar to grow in Maryland;
- 21st Century Buildings, which will electrify new buildings in the state; and
- Reclaim Renewable Energy Act, which will end renewable energy subsidies for polluting trash incineration.
