Climate Action Now!

More intense rain and flooding, heat waves, and storm surges are damaging homes and lives in Maryland. These extreme weather events were caused by the fossil fuel companies who knew and lied about the climate crisis. Those fossil fuel companies should be the ones to pay to prepare for and recover from the disasters being caused by the climate crisis.

The RENEW Act is Maryland’s best hope for getting off fossil fuels and equitably surviving the climate impacts we are already experiencing. It would invest $900 million a year for ten years in clean energy and resiliency, and it would all be paid for by the largest international fossil fuel companies. It will not cost Maryland taxpayers a penny!
