We found out TODAY that Virginia state legislators plan to cave in to anti-climate Governor Glenn Youngkin’s reckless demand that the state permanently withdraw from the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI). Shockingly, state legislators are on the verge of complying with this demand through a budget maneuver.

This is unacceptable. RGGI is one of our most important and proven climate action tools, and it is the source of hundreds of millions of dollars every year for low-income energy efficient housing and flood resilience programs.

We need to flood our state lawmakers offices with calls to not support a budget without RGGI.
