Protect Climate Progress

In 2020, we passed landmark climate legislation here in Virginia. The Virginia Clean Economy Act set us on a path to a 100% renewable energy economy and phased out fossil fuels.

Each year since its passage we’ve defended this legislation against attacks. This year is no different. We’ve seen more than a dozen attack bills that would reclassify dirty energy and false solutions as “renewables” and reverse our plan to phase out coal and gas plants. They’ve gotten disturbingly far. So we need to make sure our legislators know that Virginians won’t stand for it.

That’s why we will rally in front of the General Assembly and then visit key legislators to make sure they know that we aren’t going back!
