More intense rain and flooding, heat waves, and storm surges are damaging homes and lives in Maryland. These extreme weather events were caused by the fossil fuel companies. Those fossil fuel companies should be the ones to pay to prepare for and recover from the disasters being caused by the climate crisis. 

This year, we passed a bill to study these impacts and in 2027 we are excited for the legislature to pass the enforcement bill.
